Compliance

Compliance

Compliance is often a quick-fix solution employed by a target to avoid creating an even bigger or more immediately toxic and/or unpleasant social problem.

Compliance does not require the target to agree with the advocacy–just simply perform the behavior.

Conformist children often comply with the unreasonable demands of an angry parent much the same way an underling adult in a workplace bullying scenario is forced to comply with the wishes of a bad boss, like Jennifer Aniston.
